Skirting

Skirting is removing anything unwanted in your wool.  Hay, twigs, weeds, seeds, soiled and stained areas, britchy hairs and sometimes areas where wool is textured differently.  If you're having wool carded, a couple of these may not matter as much.

Please skirt your wool well.  I anticipate skirting to a small degree as I'm rinsing and scouring, because wool staples hide stuff, but if your wool requires substantial skirting, I will have to bring in help for a fee..
