If wool submitted obviously has substantial VM and dirt, or other stuff, and will require extra skirting, I may opt to bring in someone to skirt it.  This is, if it goes through two cycles of scouring and rinses and still has substantial VM, and it necessitates bringing in help to remove items that the picker won't drop out, there will be a fee of $10/pound.  Skirting is also available as a stand-alone service.
